The Nostalgic Hobbyist

I miss what Pizza Hut was like when I was a kid. I got the idea from the Barbie Pizza Party series. Specifically, Skipper’s Pizza Hut outfit which I randomly ran across on Mercari. I got that, as well as Skipper‘s head from the late 80s or early 90s. I had planned to pop that head on a newer semi-articulated Skipper body, but it honestly sucked. Current Skipper is boring. I usually ask Gemini when looking for parts, clothes, whatever. I learned there are articulated Skipper (and friends) dolls from that time period. I’ve been looking for the “Cool Tops” Skipper, Courtney and Nikki, along with their original Pizza Party outfits. I’m going to have to make a lot from scratch for this one. The classic Tiffany-style hanging lamp is probably going to be hardest to make. Everything will be as accurate as possible to the decor of the time. I’m expecting lots of tediousness, swearing, and neck pain 😬
