✅ Twiggy (1967)

Casey & Twiggy! I love the Casey face sculpt, it’s a definite favourite of mine and I’m not surprised it was used for Twiggy’s doll!

Neither of those photos are mine, of course.

I was finally able to find an affordable Twiggy in July of 2026! I was only able to do so because the doll was very much in need of a spa day and trip to the salon. I am confident I can spiff her up. I was able to semi-tame her stubborn, jacked up hair. It was choppy, frizzy, and almost wouldn’t cover her scalp. It’s thin and might have been snipped. Overall, she is looking alright! There is a small patch of frizz on the top front of her head which I am not sure what to do about. It doesn’t look horrible thankfully. It’s almost like the hair was slightly singed. Anyways, here is my beautiful Twiggy!

This is her before;

This was so much worse than it looks! A picture couldn’t do it justice. I have never run into whatever that was until now.

The neck hairline was so bad. Some stuck straight out, but the part right above the hairline was flattened like it had been superglued down for fifty years. That part refused to budge when I tried pulling the hair away from the head. I picked and picked with a comb, which didn’t do it any favours I’m sure. It was like glue but there was no sign of any actual glue. The above part that stuck out reminded me of Uchiha Sasuke’s duck-butt hairstyle I always joked about. I started getting a little worried. However, with some intense conditioning I was able to (err kind of?) fix this.

Her After pics;

Is there still frizz? Oh Yes. My mission was only to get the hair to lie the eff down. I’m not sure what I should do with it now, I need help.

There will be product. Hard to believe it’s still frizzing after all that.
See the hair in the front left? That’s the patch of weird frizz.

I did not document the difficulty of moving the hair around to make certain her entire scalp was covered. It’s looking good, no apparent balding. I feel like I need to try and style it back to her original look. I’m honestly scared to mess with it!

I will update on Miss Twiggy once I fix her up.
