I got so many packages today! I just now sat down to open everything. There’s a lot more on the way, too. I really blew my wad haha. Now, on to photos and rambling!

The model Vespa I bought for an upcoming photo project,

This is a die cast 1:6 scale Vespa 150 VL 1T made in 1955. It will be a wonderful prop for scale photography! Also, I just like Vespa scooters so it’ll probably be displayed.

New Odile! She was $11 on Amazon. The other, I liked her hair. I was looking for brunettes to practice some hairstyles. I want a Marlo flip for her, and a nice outfit… if nothing goes horribly wrong with her hair 😅 She’s inexpensive at least.

This outfit I bought on Amazon, more or less for the jacket. I don’t know how the pants will fit.

Pure impulse buy. The box says “cute fat white stuffed cat toy”. Right up my alley

Okay, this post sat as a draft for a few days and other things have come!

I got these at Roses of all places! ROSES. They never have this type of thing! What a throwback, though. I have renewed hope I might find some of my old toys, like Starlite from Rainbow Brite;

I loved this toy. I hope it’s someplace hidden in the parent’s obstacle course of a basement.

And a day or so later….more packages!

I found Ginger Spice for super cheap! She still had all her clothes and accessories even though the box had been opened.

Unfortunately for her, I harvested her clothes. Even her underpants. I promise you won’t be nude forever, Geri. I do love you.

Big lot of Galoob Spice Girls doll shoes! They had the best footgear.

I couldn’t find these *anywhere* other than the above lot which was annoying, but I’m really happy now that I’ve seen the rest of the shoes in person. They add so much to my shoe collection! I do still need Scary’s zebra platforms.

The last piece of the bulk of the outfit I’m compiling;

This orignally belonged to a NKotB Donnie Wahlberg doll lol. Or that’s what google says, anyhow. It’s a hybrid of the Union Jack and American flag, which I absolutely love! I was worried it wouldn’t fit Dreamhouse Midge who I’m pulling this getup together for, but it does. It was hell getting her hands through the sleeves. It’s got a weird inside lining that reminds me of Q-tips because it tears exactly as a Q-tip would, like shredded cotton but stiffer. I forgot to use a latex glove to have it slide through easier. Midge got them fancy-schmancy hands with the fingers and stuff 🥴

I sometimes find myself missing the mitten-hand era. Lol

I clean almost every second hand item I buy, but I was terrified I would ruin this thing. Thankfully it doesn’t appear to have hurt the material.

Geri’s outfit even came with bloomers! Her Union Jack dress is exceptionally short.

I’m always glad when doll dresses/skirts come with underpants. Wish they all did. I’ve been buying tiny boyshorts on Etsy because that drives me nuts for some reason.

Got Midge white fishnets but they ripped 😦

Early 70’s (I think?) Francie doll bubble sunglasses! I got a few pairs of sunglasses to see what looks best. They are so difficult to fit on the doll’s face. See how they stick out? They’re so cute though!

I’m still waiting for some accesories to Midge’s outfit, but a couple of other bits arrived.
