Christie in a Mix of Various AliEx fashions!

I took these in a place where I thought the lighting was better. I was wrong. Did my best to (very carefully) dodge the shadow on her face away. It affected this shot the most. I tried!

The cherry bracelet is from Etsy! I can’t keep crediting things over and over though. It’s kind of tiresome. I should just make a directory of everyone I’ve bought from.

I forgot about the boots too. They came on another doll I got. They’re the rubber squishy type.

Cousin Jazzie in a mix of Etsy, Vintage, and AliEx Fashions!

I got two Jazzie dolls in a lot from eBay. I washed their hair and it got twice as big on this doll. She already had big hair, this doll debuted in the 80s ffs! I had to ponytail some of it to break up some of the volume. I think it looks super cute like this!

I love Jazzie. She’s a really cute doll, marketed as Barbie’s cool cousin, like Francie was 20 years prior! She came in an awesome looking franken-fit. Whoever put it together has a great eye for that.

She has some equally cool friends that I want to add to my collection!

One of My Dudes in an AliEx Outfit!

This outfit kind of sucks, it’s too simple. I didn’t He’s wearing Cam’s old outfit sans jacket.

I need to dress him up better, but until my AliEx haul comes, I don’t have so much male clothes, or dolls. I am attempting to rectify that.

Cam brooding in some Etsy and Amazon fashions!

My favourite “Ken”! The face mold is called ‘Cam’ so that’s his name. I really hope it’s not a one-off use face like many are. Cam is supposed to be Native American I think, so I got him a couple of cool shirts that allude to it a little. Impatiently waiting for my haul!

He looks like a moody guy with that serious expression. I tried to match the colours with that feeling.

Ah yes, credits! I love this turtleneck. It’s quality and I’m get more of them from JAMdollsDesigns Etsy shop! The jeans come from Amazon. The brand is E-Ting I think, and it’s some pretty nice denim! The pants and denim vest were only $7 a pop. I accidentally bought two (this happens to me too often) but I’m not even upset about it. Nice manpants for dolls are sort of hard to come by.

I have some simple unisex chain necklaces coming and I kind of wish I had one for these pics. It would have looked really good with this turtleneck.

A Redo of Casey’s Purple Photo!

No relation to this set, but it was bothering me. It was so over filtered which killed some of the colours on the jacket and pants. So, I went back to a point in my 50+ drafts of this where it still looked decent, and I think I fixed it. There’s that necklace again! 😅

Pacific Northwest Serial Killer Ken!

Or is he a Ryan? I forget.

I think it’s the glasses. I think that’s it. And possibly the bag. Tell me. Tell me he doesn’t look like a serial killer. I dare ya.

Dude. Specs are crooked. That makes it worse. 😭

Alrighty, credits. Bag comes from AliEx. I thought it made a good college student style messenger bag.

Turtleneck is from ISewForDoll on Etsy. It’s quality.

The open shirt, pants and shoes belong to Mattel’s very pretty Jasper Cullen doll. I’m using his head for a project so he doesn’t need his clothing. The difference in their frames is very noticeable! The shirt barely fits. Them feet though. I had to cut the back of the shoes, and even then it was a mighty struggle. Does doll Jasper have extra small feet?

I tried to make these look like crime photos or mugshots…or whatever. Kind of grimy and ruined. There weren’t many posing options. This doll has like… 5 points of very limited articulation, an annoyingly rigid body (he needs a new one!), an unusually serious expression, and looks a little too clean cut. I can’t believe these started as part of the above set. I mean, I thought he’d look handsome in some plastic AliEx frames!

Nope! Serial killer. Why the Pacific Northwest? It reminds me of that, probably because I’ve watched too much true crime. That area is eerie, as is New England on the east coast. Why do you think Stephen King uses these places as settings in his books? Because they’re spooky! What horrors might lurk in those vast, untouched, foggy forests?
